Nonpolar Amino Acids

A category of amino acids that includes Glycine, Alanine, Valine, Cysteine, Proline, Leucine, Isoleucine, Methionine, Tryptophan, and Phenylalanine.

Polar Amino Acids

A category of amino acids that includes Serine, Threonine, Tyrosine, Asparagine, and Glutamine.

A category of positively charged amino acids that includes Lysine and Arginine.

A category of negatively charged amino acids that includes Aspartic Acid and Glutamic Acid.
