- for short stories, essays, articles, poems

- for novels, plays, movies

Thesis Statement

- statement that you wish or intend to argue or support with facts, details, and evidences

Synopsis

1. Major plot points in sequential order

2. Character motivations

3. Highlight what’s unique about the story and what lesson is learned

Evaluation

- should be no less than five sentences and supports one topic or main idea (ex. Biographical, Feminist, Marxist, Queer)

Topic Sentence

- summarizes the main idea of a paragraph

Evidences

- support the topic sentence with quotations, situations, and relevant materials

Conclusion
