The pattern or structure that a poet must follow to create a specific type of poem.

Two-lined stanza that usually rhymes.

A poem that does not follow any type of pattern or structure.
What is a Haiku?
A three-lined poem that contains five syllables on the first line, seven syllables on the second line, and five syllables on the third line.
