Adipose tissue
Connective tissue. Scattered cells, little matrix, used for insulation and energy storage

Blood
Connective tissue. Scattered cells , Red blood cells, white blood cells and platelet in plasma matrix

Bone
Connective tissue. Scattered cells. Cells are in the black spots

Cardiac muscle
Muscle tissue found in heart. Cells are branched with striations and one nuclei in center

Elastic cartilage
Connective tissue. Scattered cells (chondrocytes) and found in "caves". Very flexible due to elastic fibers

Hyaline cartilage
Connective tissue. Scattered cells (chondrocytes) found in "caves", most common, slightly flexible

Neuron
Nervous tissue. Cells have lots of extensions

Simple Columnar
Epithelial tissue. Tightly packed cells, one layer of tall, rectangular cells

Simple cuboidal
Epithelial tissue. Tightly packed cells. One layer of cube shaped cells. Cells are found around the white circular areas.

Simple Squamous
Epithelial tissue. Look at the very top layer of cells. You will single layer of flat cells.

Smooth muscle
Muscle tissue. No striations, one nuclei per cell, cells taper and end to give "wavy" appearance

Stratified columnar
Epithelial cells. Tightly packed, tall rectangular cells in many layers

Stratified squamous
Epithelial tissue. Tightly packed cells. Top layers are flat cells.

Skeletal muscle
Muscle tissue. Long cells with striations. Nuclei pushed to edges of cells
