What is quantum entanglement?
A phenomenon in quantum physics where two or more particles become interconnected in such a way that the state of one particle instantly influences the state of another, regardless of the distance separating them.
What is the Law of Conservation of Mass?
The principle stating that mass in a closed system will remain constant over time, implying that mass can neither be created nor destroyed.
What does the term 'reactant' refer to?
A substance that takes part in and undergoes change during a chemical reaction.
What does the term 'product' refer to?
The substance(s) formed as a result of a chemical reaction.
What is a balanced chemical equation?
An equation in which the number of atoms for each element is the same on both the reactants and products side, indicating mass conservation.
What are coefficients in a chemical equation?
Numbers placed before the reactants and products in a chemical equation to indicate the number of molecules involved in the reaction.
