المعرب
A word in Arabic that changes its ending due to grammatical factors.
المبني
A word in Arabic that remains in a fixed form and does not change its ending regardless of grammatical factors.
إعراب ظاهرة
A type of grammatical case marked visibly (e.g., with a vowel sign) on the last letter of a word.
إعراب مقدرة
A type of grammatical case that is not marked visibly due to several reasons; the mark is intended but not shown.
علامات الإعراب
The signs that indicate the grammatical cases of Arabic nouns, including رفع (nominative), نصب (accusative), and جر (genitive).
فاعل
The doer of an action in a sentence, which is generally in the nominative case.
نائب الفاعل
The subject in a passive sentence that takes the place of the omitted doer.
فعل ماضٍ
A verb that indicates an action completed in the past.
فعل مضارع
A verb that indicates an action that is currently happening or will happen in the future.
فعل الأمر
A verb that expresses a command or request.
المتعدي
A verb that requires a direct object to complete its meaning.
اللازم
A verb that does not require a direct object; its action is completed by the subject alone.
حروف الجر
Prepositions in Arabic that require their objects to be in the genitive case.
اسم موصول
Relative pronouns that connect clauses and refer back to a noun.
اسم إشارة
Demonstrative pronouns that point to specific entities.
الأفعال المعتلة
Verbs in Arabic with a consonant root that contains a vowel (ألف, واو, ياء).
