DR and MRS VANDERTRAMP-all these verbs are unique because they follow etre as an auxiliary without the use of a reflexive pronoun. All of these verbs MUST agree with their subject.
Devenir-to become, Rester-to stay, Monter- To go up/climb, rentrer-to go back into, venir- to come,sortir- to go out of, aller- to go, Naitre- to be born, Descendre-to go down, entrer-to go into/enter, revenir- to come back, tomber- to fall,Retourner- to return, arriver- to arrive, mourir-to die, passer- to pass by, partir-to leave.
Any verb can technically take etre, but only if there is a reflexive pronoun being used. So to say you woke up( se reveille)…
Tu t’es reveillee. Je me suis brosse les dents. Because you used “me” in the sentence to indicate its your teeth that are being brushed and “dents” are a body part use les when referring to it.
