Allen Wrench/Hex Key
A small handheld tool used for driving bolts and screws with a hexagonal socket.
Head Mounted Light
A light source affixed to the head used for outdoor activities at night or in dark conditions.
Long nose plier
A tool used to grip small objects, reach awkward places, hold wires, bend loops, and attach wires.
Lineman's Pliers
A tool used to grip, splice or cut wires, and strip insulation.
Diagonal side cutter pliers
A tool used for work involving cutting and skinning wires, as well as cutting and removing pins, nails, and other fasteners.
Screwdrivers (Philips, Flat, Torx)
Tools used to tighten or loosen screws; must not be used as pry bars or chisels.
Precision Screwdriver
A hand tool with a small form factor and sleek handle design used primarily for work on small, intricate devices.
Soldering Iron/Gun
A tool composed of a heated metal tip and an insulated handle used to melt solder so it can flow into the joint between two workpieces.
Desoldering Pump
A manually-operated device, colloquially known as a solder sucker, used to remove solder from a printed circuit board.
BGA Hot Air Rework Station
A machine used to refinish or repair PCBs with ball grid array (BGA) packaging and surface-mounted devices (SMDs).
Tweezer
Small tools used for picking up objects too small to be easily handled with the human fingers.
Analog/Digital Multimeter
An electronic measuring instrument, also known as a VOM (volt-ohm-milliammeter), that measures voltage, current, and resistance.
Anti-static Wrist Strap Belt
A device used to safely ground a person working on sensitive electronic equipment to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD).
Crimping Tool
A tool used to conjoin two pieces of metal, such as affixing a connector to the end of a cable, by deforming one or both of them.
Lan Tester
A tool mainly used for testing ethernet cables for faults or missing pair connections.
Punch Tool
A small, narrow metal rod featuring a sharp point on one end and a larger, blunter tip on the other.
TAEPO® Communications Wire Stripper
A tool designed for cutting and skinning wires, as well as removing pins, nails, and other fasteners.
