Filtration (blood to filtrate) in Bowman’s capsule

Secretion (blood to tubule, giving away) : in proximal and distal tubule

Absorption happens in loop of Henley and the tubules

Elimination (gets rid from body) : collecting duct

Passive process (doesn’t require ATP)

Hydrostatic pressure forces fluids and solutes through filtration membrane into glomerular capsule

Blood becomes → plasma with no proteins

Filtration membrane

Porous membrane between blood and visceral layer of glomerular capsule (anything smaller than plasma protein can usually pass)
