Stress
Stress results from pressure, tension, worries and problems in our life. It can be either positive (eustress) or negative.
Survival Stress
Also called fear-induced stress, caused by hormonal changes due to the perception of danger, affecting cognitive decision-making.
Self-Awareness
Knowing yourself, including your emotions, strengths, challenges, and the effect of your emotions on behavior and decisions.
Self-Regulation
The ability to understand and manage your own behavior and reactions, important for learning, behavior, and independence.
Environmental Stress
Stimuli in our environment that cause stress, such as war, temperature, noise, and crowds.
Self-Motivation
The force within you that drives you to do things, pushing you to achieve goals and improve your quality of life.
Impact of Stress
Stress can cause physical, emotional, and behavioral problems affecting health, energy, well-being, mental alertness, and relationships.
Meditation
Focusing your attention to eliminate jumbled thoughts, resulting in enhanced physical and emotional well-being and reduced stress.
Stress Management Techniques
Strategies for managing stress, including getting enough sleep, visualization, exercise, calming breaths, muscle relaxation, listening to music, organization, and a healthy diet.
Nature Walks
Looking at nature increases attention span, exercise reduces depression, and exposure to sunshine increases vitamin D levels, improving mood.
