Coronary sinus

Main vein of the heart that runs from L to R in the posterior part of the coronary sulcus.

Great cardiac vein

Main tributary of coronary sinus that begins near the apex, runs superiorly in the anterior IV groove, and drains portions supplied by LCA.

Middle cardiac vein

Accompanies the posterior IV branch, drains portions supplied by RCA together with small cardiac vein, and is a tributary of the coronary sinus.

Left marginal vein

Accompanies the L. marginal arterial branch, drains most of the L. ventricle, and is a tributary of the great cardiac v.

Small cardiac vein

Accompanies the R. marginal branch, drains portion of RCA, and is a tributary of the coronary sinus.

Anterior cardiac veins

Veins that begin on anterior surface of R. ventricle and drain directly into R. atrium.

Smallest cardiac veins

Veins that drain the myocardium directly into heart chambers, chiefly the atria.
