What makes DNA and RNA different?
RNA has a hydroxyl (OH) group at the 2’ carbon, versus the H at 2’ carbon of Deoxyribose. RNA has uracil in the place of thymine.
mRNA
Messenger RNA, RNA produced during transcription that carries genetic code to ribosomes.
tRNA
Transfer RNA, inteprets the info brought by mRNA and matches corresponding codons to its anticodon site.
rRNA
Ribosomal RNA, joins with proteins to make up the ribosome, which is responsible for translation.
Amino acid structure
Central carbon, bonded to an amino group on one side (NH2), a carboxyl group on the other (COOH), and an atom or group of atoms on the other side (R-group/side chain)

Consisting of multiple amino acid chains.
