Animate
Meaning "alive"; referring to whether a being is a living person or being.
Humans and Persons
The distinction that all humans are persons, but not all persons are humans.
1st Way to figure out if the First Being is Animate
The argument that since the first being is intelligent, intelligence can only exist in the mind, and a mind can only exist in a living being, the first being must be animate.
2nd Way to figure out if the First Being is Animate
The argument that because the being is infinite, necessary, and omnipotent, it perfectly and completely possesses existence itself (no beginning, no end, and depending on nothing to exist), which means it is alive.
Three Adjectives of the First Being
Infinite, necessary, and omnipotent; attributes which signify that the being perfectly and completely possesses existence.
