Isotopic abundance
The fraction of natural atoms of an element that exist as a specific isotope; for boron, Abundance(B-10) + Abundance(B-11) = 1 (normalization).
Boron-10 (B-10)
An isotope of boron with mass number 10; contributes to the natural isotopic mixture.
Boron-11 (B-11)
An isotope of boron with mass number 11; contributes to the natural isotopic mixture.
Sum-to-one constraint
Normalization condition that the total isotopic abundances add up to 1 (100%).
Density (ρ)
Mass per unit volume; ρ = m/V.
Mass (m)
The amount of matter in an object.
Mass over density
Volume; m/ρ = V.
Density over mass
Inverse volume; ρ/m = 1/V.
