San Remo Allied Powers conference (1920)

Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO)
Established in 1964 by the Arab League under Ahmad Shukeiri.
Six-Day War (1967)
Led to Israeli occupation of East Jerusalem, West Bank, Gaza, Golan Heights, and Sinai.
Black September (1970)
Clashes between PLO and Jordanian forces, driving the PLO into exile in southern Lebanon.
Yom Kippur/Ramadan War (1973)
Israel raids PLO bases in Beirut and southern Lebanon before and during the war.
