Uruguay
The front of the Street View car is normally this ghostly, black colour in Uruguay.

Panama
The Street View car in Panama has this unique antenna that is found nowhere else on Earth. It should be visible when you pan down- although not necessarily as visible as this image.

Guatemala
Guatemala has the bars visible as well as the black mirrors.

Uganda
The Google car in Uganda is a boxy white SUV with square side mirrors.

Chile
A large part of Chile can be recognized by the white rear of the Google car being visible.

Kenya
New Kenya coverage (since 2022) has a different Google Streetview car than before. The truck can appear with a snorkel, antenna, both, or neither.

Kenya has a snorkel on the front of the Google Streetview car.

Sri Lanka
Sri Lankaâs Google car in Generation 3 coverage has blue, white and red stripes, resembling the French flag.

Faroe Islands
The Faroe Islands have a unique jagged green mountain landscape without trees.

Ghana
Ghana's Google car has a visible roof rack with a black tape on the right end of the front bar.

Mongolia
This âcamping equipmentâ look is often found under the Street View car in Mongolia along with the bars.

Kyrgystan
Kyrgyzstan has the bars under the car visible as well as black/white side mirrors.

South Tunisia
This dark green Mazda follows the Street View car in central and southern Tunisia- anywhere south of Hammamet. Also note the red and black license plate.

Ecuador
Ecuador has a white Google car equipped with a short and thick ("stubby") antenna.

Argentina
The front of the Street View car is normally this ghostly, black colour in Argentina.

Vietnam
Street View coverage in Vietnam was recorded on a motorbike. In Vietnam you will either see the motorbike, the blurred outline of the motorbike or a helmet.

US Virgin Islands
If you pan down in the US Virgin Islands, you will see a bulky ute (pick-up truck) that has the bars visible and a tray in the rear.

Ukraine
Most of Ukraine has a red Google car with a long antenna visible.

Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka's Gen 4 coverage uses low-cam, meaning that (1) objects around you are seen from a lower vantage point, (2) roads look wider, (3) the Google car generally looks bigger and has a wide circular blur.

Bermuda
In Bermudaâs official Street View coverage, you will see either a black truck, a jagged blurred car or both, as pictured below. This is all the same vehicle taking the Street View imagery, just sometimes the black truck has been completely blurred out.

Northern Mariana Islands
If you pan down in the Northern Mariana Islands you should see a thick blur beneath you. There is also an antenna extending from the front-right section of the Street View car.

Rwanda
This is the Rwandan Google car. It can be white, black, or grey/brown. It's almost always visible, including its camera mount.

Iceland
In Iceland, the Street View car often has an aerial visible, and sometimes a section of the car painted in white, red, and blue can also be seen.

Jordan
The Jordan car is black if you pan down. This contrasts the white car of the UAE.

Senegal
In Senegal a silver or white truck cab is visible in the Generation 4 coverage. This is the white truck.

Bermuda
There is some boat coverage in one of the eastern harbors of Bermuda.

North Macedonia
A key way to identify North Macedonia is by the absence of an antenna on the Google Streetview car, a feature that is usually visible in most of Eastern Europe.

American Samoa
In American Samoa, you will commonly just see the back of a black ute if you pan down.

Christmas Island
If you pan down in Christmas Island, you will see the tray of a ute (pick-up truck). The tray is a light silver colour.

American Samoa tutuila
A car will often be beneath you in Tutuila, American Samoa. Other locations in American Samoa feature a person holding the Street View camera.

South Africa
South Africa has Gen 2 camera coverage. You will often see the halo in the sky and/or the circular blur beneath the Street View car.

Faroe Islands
In the Faroe Islands you will see the Google Car with plain grey roof racks and side mirrors.

Nigeria
In Nigera's generation 3 coverage, you can sometimes see the Google car's roof rack. It sometimes shows the yellow-and-black rack pattern, which is unique to Nigeria.

Guam
If you look at the rear-left of the Guam car (right-side on the above picture), you will see a tiny bit of a bar sticking out- this distinguishes Guam from the Northern Mariana Islands.

Andavadoaka
In the area inland from Andavadoaka, the Street View coverage was captured on ox.

Madagascar
In Madagascar, Streetview includes boat coverage. This coverage is particularly common on the Geoguessr World map.

Tunisia North
This lighter green Toyota follows the Street View car in Tunis and indeed everywhere in the northern part of Tunisia- north of Hammamet.

Madagascar
Part of Madagascarâs coverage includes a person walking, carrying the Street View camera around an elevated part of the capital, Antananarivo, with the city visible below.

UAE
If you pan down in the UAE, you will almost always see a white Street View car. This can be an easy way to tell the country apart from Jordan which has a black Street View car.

Qatar
Qatar features a white truck beneath you, similar to the UAE and Senegal.

UAE
The generation 4 coverage in UEA was taken with this truck. It can only be found in Dubai and Sharjah.

In south-western Kyrgyzstan, around the city of Osh, if you look in the left side-view mirror, you will see approximately 90% of the Kyrgyzstan silver car being reflected. In the remainder of Kyrgyzstan, you will only see approximately 60% of the Kyrgyzstan silver car being reflected.

Mongolia
There is a simple meta that can typically inform you of whether you are in the western or eastern half of Mongolia. If the bars are filled in with black, rubber, you should be in Western Mongolia (or Ulan Bataar). If the bars arenât filled in with black rubber, then you should be in the eastern half of Mongolia.

Laos
In the few locations in Laos that are covered by Street View, you will see the bars and side view mirrors of the Street View car. These arenât visible in Vientiane.

India
When you pan down in India, one of the more common things you will see is a very large circular blur. You can sometimes see the rectangular car, as in this image.

Mongolia
The second variant of the Mongolian Street View car is the visible bars along with the red side view mirrors.

Pakistan
Pakistanâs coverage in unique as it wasnât captured by a car but rather a person. This means when you pan down, you should see the outline pictured above. A number of other countries around the world also have trekker coverage.

Bangladesh
The bars underneath the Street View car and side view mirrors are visible in many parts of Bangladesh however they donât appear everywhere.

Germany
In 2023, Google released new, generation 4 Street View coverage across virtually the entire Germany. This means you should see the blue tinge of the Street View car if you pan down.

Reunion Indian Ocean
If you spawn on the island of Reunion, in the Indian Ocean, the Street View carâs bars will be visible as will the side view mirrors and sides of the car. There is also black tape on the back, right bar of the Street View car.

Colombia
In Colombia's Generation 3 Streetview coverage, a short, thick antenna is sometimes visible on black, white, or grey cars. In Generation 4 coverage, white or silver cars are common.

Senegal
In Senegal a silver or white truck cab is visible in the Generation 4 coverage. This is the silver truck.

Curaçao
As well as the bars being visible in Curaçao, the carâs black bonnet is simultaneously visible. No other country has this combination of the bars and black bonnet being visible simultaneously.

Serbia
A key way to identify Serbia is by the absence of an antenna on the Google Streetview car, a feature that is usually visible in most of Eastern Europe.

Nigeria
The Nigerian Google car is a large pickup truck with the cab and bed often visible. It can be white or red.

Uganda national park
In Uganda's national parks, the Google car has a black bar on the front of the car.

Senegal
In Senegal's generation 3 coverage, you can see the Google car's roof rack.
