Ischemic heart disease

Lack of blood circulation to heart muscles

CPR

A series of actions required to restart the heart and get the blood flowing once again as soon as possible.

Ventricular Fibrillation (VF)

Irregular, chaotic electrical rhythm

The heart does not pump the blood to the rest of the body; casualty will be unconscious and stops breathing normally.

Chest Compressions Site

The site of chest compression should be at the centre of the chest at the lower half of the sternum (breastbone).
