Point
A location in space that has no dimensions, represented by a dot. It is used to define geometric shapes and positions.
endpoint
A point at the end of a line segment or ray.
midpoint
The point that divides a line segment into two equal parts, located exactly halfway between the segment's endpoints.
nonsensical
geometric concepts that violate the principles of Euclidean geometry, such as shapes or figures that cannot exist in three-dimensional space.
line
A straight one-dimensional geometric figure that extends infinitely in both directions. It has no thickness and is defined by two points.
collinear
Points that lie on the same straight line.
segment bisector
A line, ray, or segment that divides a segment into two equal parts at its midpoint.
plane
A flat two-dimensional surface that extends infinitely in all directions, defined by three non-collinear points.
coplanar
Points or lines that lie on the same plane.
angle
Points or lines lying in the same plane.
perpendicular
Describes lines or planes that intersect at a 90-degree angle.
side (of an angle)
The line segment that connects the vertex of an angle to the points on the angle's rays.
segment
A part of a line that is bounded by two distinct endpoints, often used to describe the boundaries of geometric figures.
congruent
Two figures that are the same shape and size.
perimiter
The distance around a two-dimensional shape, calculated by adding the lengths of all its sides.
segment measure
The length of a line segment between its two endpoints, typically expressed in units of length.
