nucleus
a membrane-bound organelle that contains the cell's genetic material and regulates gene expression. It is often referred to as the control center of the cell.
ribosome
are cellular structures responsible for protein synthesis, translating messenger RNA (mRNA) into polypeptide chains. They can be found free in the cytoplasm or attached to the endoplasmic reticulum.
mitochondria
are double-membrane-bound organelles known as the powerhouse of the cell, generating adenosine triphosphate (ATP) through aerobic respiration. They play a crucial role in energy production and metabolism.
chloroplast
are organelles found in plant cells that conduct photosynthesis, converting light energy into chemical energy in the form of glucose. They contain chlorophyll, the pigment that gives plants their green color.
chlorophyl
a pigment crucial for photosynthesis, allowing plants to absorb light energy.
vacuole
A membrane-bound organelle found in plant cells that stores nutrients, waste products, and helps maintain turgor pressure.
cell wall
A rigid outer layer found in plant cells that provides structural support and protection. It is primarily made of cellulose.
cell membrane
a thin barrier that surrounds a cell and separates its inside from the outside environment
organelle
a certain part of cell structure
cytoplasm
thick gel substance that fills the inside of the cell

animal cell
an animal cell is the basic structural and functional unit of life in all animals

plant cell
a plant cell is the basic structural and functional unit of all plants
eukaryotic cell
are complex and have a nucleus and has specialized membrane-bound organelles
prokaryotic cells
these cells are alot simpler but dont have a nucleus nor membrane bound organelles
