The British won and the treaty of Paris was passed. The Treaty of Paris gave the British all of the French’s land. British settlers moved into Indian lands in western Pennsylvania and Virginia.

The French and their Indian allies had many successful battles until 1758. Then the tide of battle turned to the favor of the British. As a result many Indians deserted the French to fight on the British side.
