Solicit
To request or seek something earnestly. Synonyms: request, seek; Antonyms: offer, give. Example: The charity organization will solicit donations during the holiday season.
Deciduous
A term used to describe trees or shrubs that lose their leaves seasonally. Synonyms: seasonal; Antonyms: evergreen. Example: Oak and maple trees are examples of deciduous trees.
petulant
Irritable or moody, especially in a childish way. Synonyms: irritable, sulky; Antonyms: cheerful, agreeable. Example: The petulant child threw a tantrum when he didn't get his way.
Supplant
To take the place of another, often through scheming or strategy. Synonyms: replace, usurp; Antonyms: retain, keep. Example: The new technology is set to supplant older models in the market.
Deference
