392 American ppts aged 17-74 had to identify schoolmates from their high school yearbook
What were the two ways the recall was done?
Photo recognition and Free recall (just had to say all the names they remember)
What were the findings?
Ppts within 15 years of graduating were 90% accurate in photo recognition, and for 48 years it was 70%
Ppts within 15 years for free recall were 60% and ppts within 48 years were 30% for free recall
