PHYSICAL BARRIERS
These are the natural environmental conditions that act as barriers in communication whenever we are sending our messages
PSYCHOLOGICAL BARRIER
They are mental barriers that refer to the social and personal/ issues of a speaker towards communicating with others.
CULTURAL BARRIER
These are communication problems encountered by people due to their own personal values, beliefs. and traditions which are in contlict with others.
LINGUISTIC BARRIER
Words and delivery.of_ statements have different meanings, especially in different places. Hence they may cause confusion and misunderstanding among communicators.
PHYSIOLOGICAL BARRIER
Stems from personal discomfort such as poor health, poor eyesight, illness or if they're limited by physical disability.
External Noises
are the "sight, sound and other stimuli that draw people's attention away from intended meaning." Examples:
Noise from the vehicles
Singing at the neighborhood
Visual aids in front of the classroom
The dog barking

Internal Noises
are the "thoughts and feelings that interfere with meaning."
Examples:
Confrontation with a friend
Fear of speaking in front of the class
Racial prejudice
Semantic Noises
are the "alternate meanings aroused by a speaker's symbols." This idea means that a word may have another meaning in the minds of the students.
This is affected by the language in which they grew and the culture in which they are exposed.
Examples:
Incorrect grammar
Using excessive technical jargon
Using idiomatic expression
