  • Bread loses moisture when it’s exposed to air

    • Because of this, you should store fresh bread in a breadbox or a sealed paper bag

  • You can freeze bread for over two months

  • You should wrap the bread in plastic before freezing to help the bread stay fresh

  • You need to defrost frozen bread before eating

  • Bread from shops will often be wrapped in plastic to help it stay fresh

  • You should store bread in a dry place as moisture causes bread to go mouldy

  • Do not store bread in the fridge because the bread will dry out.
