Falling Down in a fit of unconsciousness, tightly closed hands and clenched jaw, course breathing, rattling in the throat, retention of urine, constipation (T) red w/thick yellow or dark grey coat (P) string taut, rolling/forefull

Pts: Du20, Du26, S40, Liv3, K1, 12 jing well

Clenched jaw: S7, S6, LI4

Aphasia/stiffness of tongue: Du15, Ren23, H5

Wind Stroke (Zang-fu Attack) Flaccid Syndrome

Falling Down in a fit of unconsciousness, Mouth agape and eyes closed, snoring and feeble breathing, flaccid paralysis of limbs, incontinence of urine (T) flaccid (P) Fading, big floating, thready, weak

Severe: cold limbs or flushed face as roughed

Pts: Ren8, Ren6, Ren4 (moxa)

Wind Stroke (Meridians and Collaterals Attack)

Hemiplegia, numbness of the limbs, deviated mouth, slurred speech w/HA, dizziness, vertigo, twitching of muscles, red eyes, flushed face, thirst, dryness of the throat, irritability (looks like Liv Wind d/t Liv Yang Rising) (T) None (P) string-taut and rolling

Pts: Du20, B7, Du16

Upper limbs: LI15, LI11, SJ5, LI4

Lower limbs: G30, G34, S36, S41

Upward wind yang: sedate G20 and Liv3; tonify K3, K6

Excess fire in H and LV: sedate P7, Liv2; tonify K3

Deviated Mouth: S4, S6

Syncope (Deficiency)

Feeble Breathing, mouth agape, cold limbs, spontaneous sweating, pallor (cold condition) (T) none (P) Deep, thready

Syncope (Excess)

Coarse breathing, clenched jaw, rigid limbs (heat condition) (T) none, (P) Deep, excess

Sunstroke (Mild Type)

HA, dire thirst, dizziness, profuse sweat, hot skin, coarse breathing, dry mouth and tongue (T) dry (P) superficial large and rapid
