Real image
An image formed by converging light rays that can be projected onto a screen. It appears inverted and is distinct from a virtual image. (where the light rays actually go)
Virtual image
An image formed by diverging light rays that cannot be projected onto a screen. It appears upright and is distinct from a real image. (the image appears somewhere else)
Concave
mirror that diverges light rays, curves inward and can produce both real and virtual images depending on the object's distance from the mirror.
Convex
mirror that converges light rays, curves outward, and typically produces virtual images.
Plane
