Socially constructed roles, behaviors, and expectations for people based on gender.

Culturally and socially determined expectations for behavior based on gender.

Art created through actions performed by the artist or participants.
Visual art
Art that conveys messages and emotions primarily through visual means.

Microorganisms that cause disease.
Bacteria
Single-celled microorganisms; a type of pathogen.
Fungi
A group of organisms that can cause disease; a type of pathogen.
Virus
A microscopic infectious agent that replicates inside living cells.

A disease that can spread from one person to another.
Mode of transmission

Human Immunodeficiency Virus; attacks the body's immune system.
AIDS
Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome; the advanced stage of HIV infection.
