Method that returns the number of characters in a string.

int indexOf(String part)

Method that returns the index of the first occurrence of the specified substring within a string, or -1 if not found. If it cannot find string part, it returns -1.

String substring(int part)

Method that returns a new string that is a substring of the original string, starting from the specified index until the ending.

String substring(int part, int end)

Method that returns a new string that is a substring of the original string, starting from the specified index and extending to, but not including, the specified ending index.
