Etiology:
trauma
genetic predisposition
synovitis
vascular abnormalities
infection
Signs and symptoms:
pain
decreased ROM
antalgic gait
positive Trendelenburg sign
Treatment:
relieve pain
maintain the femoral head in position
improve ROM
