Organelles
The components that are found within cells, carry out specialised functions.
Each cell is made up of organelles which do various jobs that give the cell it's function.
2nd level of organisation
Cells
The basic structural unit of all living organisms.
Cells carry out their own tasks to ensure the body as a whole functions.
3rd level of organisation
Tissue
A group of similar cells working together to carry out a specific function.
4th level of organisation
Organ
A group of tissues working together to carry out a specific function.
5th level of organisation
Organ system
A group of different organs working together to carry out a specific function.
6th level of organisation
Organism
Formed by organ systems.
Living thing that carries out the life processes.
