Set benchmarks, assess strengths and weaknesses, motivate participants, assess participant suitability for positions

Evaluating the effectiveness of the program and to motivate participants

Evaluating the effectiveness of the training program, review benchmarks, motivate participants
Informed consent
Outlines the risks of the fitness testing and training programs, confidentiality of the testing and aims to protect the interests of the participant and the testing organization
Characteristics of informed consent
The nature and purpose of the test, the risks involved, procedure and methods of the test, confidentiality of the test, consent can be withdrawn at any time, if under 18 must get consent from a parent/guardian
Validity
The degree to which a test, measurement, or assessment tool accurately measures what it claims to measure.
