Frisk hands first
Frisk slowly ( 2” per second) / 2-3 minutes to do Frisk
Pay special attention to FACT-B areas (Face Abdomen Chest Throat Back)
Frisk within half inch of your body

Listen to audible response clicks on the instrument
When finished, no error messages on display
When you hear an increase in the click rate while frisking:
Refrisk the area at a slower rate
If the frisker alarms
Stand fast don't move
Warn others in the risking area to stay away
Notify the RCT
Why is it important that you keep track of your exposure?
To ensure you don't exceed Exposure Control Levels or NAVSEA limits

Equal to or greater than 30 mrem/hr with no gradients
