many of the current research focuses on:

• determining the common deficits across disorders

• determine the unique deficit fro a given disorder

• identify the deficit’s underlying cognitive process and neurobiology

• positive symptoms: hallucinations, delusions, disorganized thoughts

• simmons task: congruent→ green= respond in the same direction as the arrow , incongruent→red, respond in the opposite direction as the arrow

• asses differences in congruent and incongruent tasks

Results: no gamma frequency, which is important for top-down control
