Wyatt received advice from deprived Bishop of Winchester. No prominent members of the plot were Catholic. When rebels reached London they attacked Gardiner’s property

Would bring Eng no benefits. Proclamation issued against ‘unlawful and rebellious assemblies. Rumours of Elizabeth replaced M and by Dec 1533 it became a plot
