Rogers believed people hinder others’ process of self actualisation. if an individual receives conditional positive regard, they will develop conditions of worth as they believe they will only be resected if they meet that condition.

Rogers believed peoples psychological needs were a direct result of their conditions of worth.
counselling would allow people to solve their own problems in constructive ways as therapists are able to provide a constructive and supportive environment to help dissolve clients conditions of worth.
