Biodiversity
The variety of animal and plant species in an area
Species
Organisms that have similar DNA base sequence and reproduce together to produce fertile offspring.
Species Richness
The number of different species present in an area.
Population
The total number of organisms of one species in an area, at a given time, which can interbreed to produce fertile offspring.
Community
The number of organisms of all species in an area, at a given time.
Habitat
A place where an organism lives
