What is a machine?
Anything that helps us do work. Printer, tractor, pencil, etc.
Inclined Plane
A flat surface tilted at an angle, used to help raise or lower objects. Ramps, slides, etc.
How do inclined planes help us?
Reduces the amount of force needed to lift an object and makes it easier to raise or lower heavy items.

A key is inserted into the lock. It must have the correct ridges, so the pins can get pushed so that the splits line up with the sheer line.

You add extra master pins that will line up with the sheer line using that key as well.
