What are energy resources?
Energy resources are natural resources that can be converted into forms of energy that can be used to do work.
What are renewable energy resources?
Renewable energy resources are those that can be replenished naturally in a relatively short period of time. Examples include solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, and biomass.
What are non-renewable energy resources?
Non-renewable energy resources are those that exist in limited quantities and cannot be easily replaced once used. Examples include fossil fuels (coal, oil, natural gas) and nuclear fuels (uranium).
What is solar energy?
Solar energy is derived from the sun's radiation and can be converted into electricity or heat using technologies like photovoltaic cells and solar thermal collectors.
What is wind energy?
Wind energy is harnessed from the kinetic energy of moving air, which drives wind turbines to generate electricity.
What is hydroelectric energy?
Hydroelectric energy is generated from the power of moving water, typically by using dams to drive turbines.
What is geothermal energy?
Geothermal energy is heat derived from the Earth's interior, which can be used for heating and electricity generation.
What is biomass energy?
Biomass energy is derived from organic matter, such as wood, crops, and waste, which can be burned or converted into biofuels.
