User Interface (UI)
The means by which a user interacts with a computer or application, including screens, buttons, and visual elements.
Information Architecture
The structural design of shared information environments, organizing and labeling web content effectively.
Wireframes
A basic visual representation of a user interface, outlining the layout and elements without detailed design.
Visual Communication
The practice of using visual elements to convey information and messages, essential in design.
Consistency in Design
Ensuring that similar elements look and function in the same way, helping users anticipate behavior.
Seamlessness
The quality of interactions being fluid and effortless, with minimal disruptions to the user experience.
Discoverability
The extent to which a user can find features or functions without excessive effort or guessing.
Error Recovery
The process of helping users to reverse mistakes or recover from errors easily in an interface.
Learned Behavior
User behavior shaped by interactions with previous digital interfaces and conventions.
