The “orgy dress” is a wearable, shared artwork made for five people, modelled on five mannequins using 100% cotton.

With this, she tied ideas of love and sex to both protest the anti human nature of war as well as to conquer her fear of sexual intimacy.

Nothing was worn underneath to encourage intimate contact.

Similarly, there were cut out windows located near the thighs, the breasts and the stomach for all five people to show that we are all one and that there should be a unified representation of love, affinity and connection, removing the stigma against the naked body.

Patterns on it are her iconic repetitive polka dots in a bright hot pink gradient.

The polka dots could also be interpreted as bubbles: “Bubbling anxiety” or “bubbling passion”.

Hot pink is typically associated with strong passionate emotions, perhaps deep desire or anger.

The reflective black background emphasised the “visual apparel” of this pink as well as the importance of the meanings behind it.
