i. primary school (elementary school)

ii. college (middle school)

iii. lycee (high school but with different tracks); students can either go to baccalaureat general which leads to uni or baccalaureat technologique to study the practical arts

iv. higher education but with two tracks; the universities publiques are open to anyone whop assed the bac and you graduate with a ilscence in 3 years or Frepa/Grandes ecoles require 2 years of additional preparatory classes to prepare for the nationel entrance exams (most prestigious universities. (ie ecole normale superieure, sciences po, eco polytechnique)
