epithelial: by number of cell layers (single, stratified, pseudostratified) & shape (squamous, cuboidal, columnar)
connective: by extracellular matrix (made of fibers, ground substance, fluid), loose vs dense connective tissue, supporting (cartilage & bone) fluid (blood)
