how do we know gender is social construct?
gender is socially, culturally determined ideas and norms of being men or women

feminist view of gender order:
concerned with gender inequaity and act towards gender equality.
3 types of feminism
liberal— equal opportunities in all social institutions by law and policy reforms
radical— patriachry and oldest and universal form of oppressions. eliminate male privilege and sex distinction itself
socialist— gender inequality if perpetuated by modern capitalism by the gender division of labor, devalues “women’s” work, both paid and unpaid care work.
