Agape Love - INTERNAL – action of prayer Creates internal peace through open communication about negative feelings/anxiety [allowing for the alleviation of stress] + provides an opportunity to disconnect

Agape Love - EXTERNAL – action of welcoming to faith/the Church

Forgiveness - INTERNAL – action of forgiving others; By forgiving those who have wronged an individual, adherents are more likely to achieve inner peace as they are not holding on to grudges or feelings of hostility and resentment
R&P CHRISTIANITY - “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after justice: for they shall be filled” (Matthew 5:10)
Justice - EXTERNAL – action of aiding/giving to charity by participating in social justice initiatives, Christian adherents give back to minority communities, promoting peace through the lessening of economic and resource hardship for the less fortunate.
R&P CHRISTIANITY - “Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called sons of God" (Matthew 5:9)
Beatitudes - EXTERNAL – action of promoting peace; through active reconciliation and conflict resolution, adherents embody the call to be peacemakers, reflecting God's love and fostering harmony within communities
R&P ISLAM -“…Whoever kills a person… it is as though he has killed all of mankind…” (Qur’an 5:32)
Sanctity of life - External —> Opposition to violence, commitment to preserve life

Salat - Internal; Cultivating presence of heart and consciousness of Allah during prayer.

Hajj - Internal; Sincere intention (niyyah) to perform Hajj for God’s sake alone
- Repentance for past wrongs, seeking forgiveness
- Deep humility and self-reflection
- Feeling unity with all Muslims and the story of Abraham
- Letting go of worldly attachments and ego

Justice & Compassion - External —> giving charity (Zakat – obligatory almsgiving; Sadaqah – voluntary charity), fair and just treatment, protection of the oppressed

Greater Jihad Internal; manifested through self-control, patience (sabr), repentance (tawbah), regular worship (salat), fasting (sawm), and ethical conduct in everyday life. It often requires consistent self-reflection and resisting harmful impulses.

Ummah/Community External – active cooperation, social welfare, conflict mediation, upholding justice, and promoting peace within and beyond Muslim communities.
