Decimals that have a finite number of digits after the decimal point.
Terminating Decimals
Decimals that have an infinite number of digits after the decimal point, with a repeating pattern.
Recurring Decimals
Numbers that can be expressed as a fraction of two integers.
Rational Numbers
Numbers that cannot be expressed as a simple fraction; their decimal representations are non-repeating and non-terminating.
Irrational Numbers
A fraction expressed as a part of 100.
Percentage
To convert a percentage to a decimal, divide by 100.

To find a percentage of an amount, multiply the amount by the percentage as a decimal.
Calculate Percentage of an Amount
The amount by which a quantity increases expressed as a percentage of the original quantity.
