Performance accomplishments/past performances
=self-efficacy is influenced by what you have done in the past/past experiences
Can be enhanced if players achieved win+enjoyed experience
(E.g. high jumper confident they can clear 1.2m as they have cleared 1.3m before in training)
Improve by=watch videos of successful past performances/skills
Vicarious experience
=concerned with watching others(model) do the same task and being successful
(E.g. watching gymnastic complete vault well, may give other gymnast watching- confidence to do vault themselves)

Verbal persuasion
=power of reinforcement/encouragement, praise from coaches/players/spectators give a player confidence to repeat successful attempt
Significant others=encouragement from others even more significant when comes from those held in high esteem (coaches)

=dealing with emotions in sport when very close to getting a big win—>essential for good performance
