LIBERALISM

They believe in positive uses of the govt as it relates to the poor, minorities and women. They feel the govt should support social programs like, welfare, SSI, student loans and the govt should provide housing, education and healthcare to those in need. They cherish individual liberties like, being gay, pro choice, equal rights.

CONSERVATISM

This is a bible based ideology that focuses on moral values such as
abstinence, no sex before marriage; they disagree with being gay, gay marriages, and pornography. They resist change and want to retain traditional values. They are pro business; they believe in private property, and capitalism. They also promote low taxes and oppose high taxes; they feel that everyone should take care of themselves and shouldn’t
depend on the gov’t for assistance. They don’t like the govt in people’s business except if it pertains to moral values. They want limited govt except in national defense. They resist govt regulations like gun control laws and business regulations.

concerned with the environment, animals and social justice. It promotes equal opportunity, feminism, diversity and nonviolence. i.e. the Green Party.

LIBERTARIANISM

cherishes individual liberty and very little gov’t intervention. They
dislike regulations on moral values like drugs, seat belts, helmets, gun control and pornography.

CAPITALISM

an economic system in which the means of producing wealth are privately
owned to produce profits. A free market economy and private property ownership. The market determines what is or is not produced. Limited govt except for business regulations like wages, labor laws and job safety. The govt steps in when there is unfair competition
and monopolies.

SOCIALISM

To share. An economic system that advocates equality and is based on
public ownership of goods and services. The govt feels it can be fair to its citizens by providing essential needs like healthcare, water, electricity and land. The govt allows a free market economy like capitalism in non essential areas like clothing, products and some services.
