chronic hypercalcemia treatment
Cinalcet 30 mg PO BID uptitrated to 90 mg QID

MOA: calcimimetic, increase sensitivity of parathyroid calcium receptors → dec PTH release and extracellular calcium
AE: hypocalcemia, N/V (very common during dose titration)
acute hypercalcemia treatment
NS bolus then infusion
