What is a Polis?
A city state in Ancient Greece; having its own government, laws, and army.

Gods & Goddesses controlled everything in their lives & environment; Gods would take care of them when they died; if they pleased the gods, it was though the gods would help them; if they angered the gods, the gods would punish them

An Oracle was a priest or priestess in ancient Greece who communicated with the gods to provide prophecies and guidance.
