Hx of heart failure
Aortic stenosis
Severe hepatic impairment (lower the dose for these peeps)
Contraindications
Systolic <90 bpm
Severe aortic stenosis
Hypersensitivity
Grapefruit juce (CYP3A inhibitor)
Nursing considerations
Monitor BP
Monitor HR
Monitor for sx of peripheral edema (pitting, swelling in extremities, tight stretched skin)
Patient education
Take as directed
Change positions slowly
Contact HCP if HR goes under 50 bpm
Teach sx of peripheral edema - go to ED/contact HCP
